have you got the rubbers on both sides, on the top and bottom of the springs?
are the springs on the rubbers correctly, if i remember mine had a groove of increaseing depth so the turn of the spring can sit in it properly, have you lined this up properly??
^^ yeah, when i did my fornt ones without the top of the shock on the spring was a good 50ish mm over the top of the shock, they need a fair nit of compressing so you dont get parts thrown in your face!!
just do it slowly, grip down as far as possible on it to try and minimalise the twisting of the plastic.
stuff like that is so annoying, its a really small thing but just a ballache to sort out!
^^ yes mate i think so, i nearly killed myself from not clamping them properly so definately need to get some!
they are only about £12 from screwfix or somewhere similar.
what are they like reliability wise, will be doing about 200 miles a week in it, so what is likely to go wrong, and cost me some money on them?
a friend of mine has one, and its constantly broke but he does nail it all the time, and does quick fixes etc, so provided its in good condition...
yeah i saw this on the trader the other day i think, absolute t**t to do that to a car, why do people think they look good?!
thanks for the description len.
that is so nice mate, as soon as im qualified one of these will be my next car i think, in love with them!
looks really well done, id love to come to the ring just to be driven around it in that!
