Reading through the forums, 40mm is the recommended max on standard shocks.
The other argument is that coilovers are made for those drops, whereas standard shocks aren't. The ride will no doubt be a bit harder, but they should last longer than standard shocks/ lowering springs combo.
Ok. I'm replacing my stock suspension with coilovers and thinking of AP's.
Have read a lot about camber issues on here though. How did you get round yours?
Is it just the fronts you need, and do the 172/182 ones definitely fit?

From petrol cars and bikes, I've always used standard NGK or Denso.
No real point in going down the iridium route, as unless you're tuning the car to a high level, you won't really gain the better heat rates on them.
