I'd be interested in meeting up, will only be doing the black mountains area
though. It would be a waste me meeting you in Cardiff area to drive back on myself.
which way will you be coming over the black mountains?
Cheers for the comments everyone, I love it.
Done a bit of milage in it today, was a bit dirty so I gave it a clean and took better pictures.
These wheels are staying, I prefer them and the anthracite works well, not fond of black.
Anyway, here's a few more pics:
Cheers

Not the best pictures, taken off my iPhone. Will put good quality pictures up tomorrow.
I'm chuffed to bits with the car, performance/ handling/ styling/ absolutely everything.
This is my perfect car, ticks all the boxes.
Hi everyone :approve:
As some of you may know me, I had a Ph1 172, and sold it just over a year ago.
Since selling that, I've regretted it everyday. So i bit the bullet and put an order in for a brand new 2012 white Clio Rs 200 Cup, with recaros. Today is the day I pick it up :D
Cannot...
can anyone else confirm that the 65 and 80 share the same turbo please?
i think theyre both using a kp35? cant seem to find info even after searching on dci.net
thanks
Hi there,
Disks and pads need changing all round on a 172.
Cheapest I've found is £89 delivered for front and rear disks and pads. At that price obviously there's no rear whelk bearings with them. Theres no noise from the bearings on the car, so should it be okay not to change them?

Everyone is saying avoid? Lol. No one even knows what colour smoke it is.
And if the car is a minter as you say, if it's the right price an engine rebuild is nothing.
Again, if the price is right. I'd rather have an engine rebuild and know what exactly has been done to the engine.
i own a DCi 65. its quick enough tbh. its a car that is more than capable of keeping with the flow of traffic, safe over taking and all that. i dont mind it. they are turbo's just dont have an intercooler. quite nice to drive
65hp and 160 nm of torque so the turbo is a really good help.
theres bargains out there atm. bought my other half an 03 plate 172, 62k. fsh with belts done for 1500.
EDIT: not cat registered, totally straight one i meant
this is probably the best choice i think then:

Hi there
My Clio 1.5 DCi has started to show signs of a worn turbo.
The help I need is finding the best/cheapest place for replacement internals.
The housing will be fine has its hardly been driven since showing signs of wear.
I can see that catridges are available on Ebay but if...
Its been proven it is the best renaultsport clio mk2. im not saying its the best in my opionion, as a standard Renaultsport clio, it comes out on top. simple as that. thats what they're saying.
and the suspension is close to 1k if your lucky to find some, and the seats are around that price...
