Been looking at a car- Smokes when flooring it

As title really.....been looking at a PH1 but the person said it smokes a little and when I asked him to explain further he said it smokes when flooring it. I am assuming thats bad and should be avoided?

I noticed on test-drive when I picked mine up this morning there was a lot of what you would call condensation smoke (white), even after 20 mins.
However after 30 mins on the drive home this went away and it was -10 this morning.

White will be steam or condensation... most cars have it in this weather. But plumes of it could he the H/G.

As Daniel put, Smoke is Smoke... Black is unburnt fuel, Blue is burning oil... Grey can also be wrong fuel.

Flol no its a minter buy it now !

It could be anything from HGF to valve stem oils seals. I'd steer clear. As someone has already said there are plenty to choose from.

Depends what colour the smoke is.
You use it isn't just because its cold.

Everyone is saying avoid? Lol. No one even knows what colour smoke it is.
And if the car is a minter as you say, if it's the right price an engine rebuild is nothing.
Again, if the price is right. I'd rather have an engine rebuild and know what exactly has been done to the engine.

Mine gives a bit of a cloud of steam until the exhaust warms up but other than that there's no smoke. If its smoking under heavy acceleration then its likely to be burning oil. I'd look for another one that doesn't smoke.
