I'm with markhinton on this - it is pointless in higher gears hanging on past 6,500 rpm. It's all about the torque - that's what accelerates the car, and you have none above 6,500 rpm...and masses from 5,000 up to 6,500... ^^^ from 6,500 EVERYTHING is going downhill. In the lower gears...

That's what I told HIC and they noted it as such...and they're very mod-friendly.

And if you did wind them up/down they'd likely get scratched to f*** which would rule out road/night driving.

Here's mine. Can't say I've noticed much difference from it, but this combined with taking the power steering off saw my curve go from 176 bhp at peak up to 186 bhp (shows a small loss below 4k now but goes like a banshee above 5k)...most of which was probably down to the steering pump...
