    Budget noise cancelling headphones

Right, I'm stuck in hospital at the minute, probably for another week. I've got a pair of Sennheiser HD201 on ear headphones, but they are getting a bit noisy so I could do with some new ones. Are there any 'budget' on ear headphones that offer noise cancelling that anyone can suggest? Cheers...

    Virgin Media 152mb problem

Seems to be some posts saying a beta version of OS X has cured it for some people? Doesn't that point at it being a apple issue more than a VM?

    Keeping my exhaust shiny

Get some gtechniq c5 on the tips, that will make them much easier to clean, probably just with a cloth if applied properly. It's not cheap, but it's good! http://www.shopnshine.co.uk/gtechniq-c5-wheel-armour-30ml?___SID=U If you want just a small amount I'm sure I have some left from when I...

Timing Belt / Dephaser pulley change by miles not age?

It's 6 years on the late 197's and all 200's. Also, the dephasers are much better than the 1*2's and don't usually require replacement.

    S40 T5 sleeper project

Oh they think I've fractured my L2 vertebrae too, but they aren't worried about that as its not displaced, just regular pain killers and top ups of morphine to sort out the pain.

    S40 T5 sleeper project

They've got to the bottom of it, just awaiting surgery to have a defibrillator implanted in my chest so that if it was to happen again it will automatically shock my heart back into its proper rhythm. Everything is just taking ages because of emergencies coming in etc.

Righto - Volvo is dead after I had a blackout (possible cardiac arrest) at the wheel and crashed into a telegraph pole and someone's garden. No pics of the car as I never got chance to see it, but it's a cat c. Hoping to buy it back to salvage some parts but we'll see how that pans out...

    197 Gearbox remove

My guess would be that the subframe either needs removing or at least dropping down a bit. I doubt it'll come out with out that.

CarPro Hydrofoam -Hydro2 and snowfoam in 1

Love it, I give the car a once over with the pressure washer to get most of the dirt off. I then foam one side of the car and wash it with a mitt, rinsing regularly in a bucket of clean water. Work our way round the car like that, the I give it another quick foam and wash off with pressure...

    S40 T5 sleeper project

Quick update. The PCV system decided to give up a few weeks ago, resulting in this noise. My fist thought was belt related, hence the position of the video. All that had blown is a red rubber diaphragm that is part of the oil filter housing, but you can't buy it on its own, so £156 later a...

    Lets see your wheels

Not a Clio I know, but it just goes to show him much difference wheels can make. My Ovlov when I bought it, the wheels were called Spartacus and were 17". New wheels fitted, these are 18" and look 1000x better in my opinion.

    Rolling Road/Remap Results.. Opinions?

No, they were called 182 as they were supposed to produce 182ps, which is 179.5bhp. Same with the 172, 197 & 200

My new toy Clio 197 Cup

Looks good, but I just need to point out you have 'Clio 3 F1' in your car info. This isn't an f1, it's a cup.

Clio 200 Clutch Bleed | Warrington / North West

its a 10 minute job to bleed the clutch and no special tools required. I'd be doing it myself to be honest. Oh, and the clutch/brake systems are separate. They only share the reservoir so air in either system won't affect the other.

Your thoughts please - RS200, Red, Recaros + Speedlines

Ask Renault, they changed it! All I know is that it was changed from 5 to 6 years in about 2008/09.

The late 197's had the revised interval too

6 years on the 200, so it's due in March

Technically the belts aren't due yet, but yes I'd be wanted to get a bit of money off to cover them.

Is this garage having my pants down?

For the sake of a few extra quid I'd be letting them supply the parts. You aren't really saving much are you?

    Just bought a lovely 197......

New gearboxes can be picked up for <£600, so it's not a major problem if it goes. It's not a common as is made out either, it's just we only hear about the bad ones.

Is this garage having my pants down?

You'll struggle to find anywhere that will let you supply the parts to be honest. Hours wise, maybe 4 - 5?
