    Cutting question

Not enough passes in my opinion. You need to work the polish until it's fully broken down. Sounds like all you've done is spread it around.

    Air filter too loud?!

Have you spoke to the guy you bought the car from? They might still have the parts?

    High Amount of Previous Owners

Only write offs would show on HPI, it could have been damaged and not gone through insurance..... Of course, the colour change could be purely down to choice and nothing sinister at all!

Any map on it? It could have been mapped out

    Thin and runny snow foam

99% sure it will be the gauze at fault. I had the same issue. I stripped mine down and soaked the gauze in a descaler over night and it's been spot on ever since.

My latest shed project. 306 Rallye.

I had a 309 1.6 for exactly the same reason - it was the only car bigger than a 1.2 that I could get insurance on. Loved that car too. Peugeot 309 1.6 SR in met grey, basically the same lump as the 205 GTI but on single point injection instead of multi if I remember rightly. It even had the same...

My latest shed project. 306 Rallye.

I missed the bit about the belts - yep fair enough, makes sense to lift it out in that case! I did the clutch twice on my GTI-6 - and the second time it only took 4 hours start to finish on my own with nothing but basic hand tools, once you know what you're doing they are lovely and simple to...

My latest shed project. 306 Rallye.

They really are one of if not the best hot hatch of the 90's. I've had a 1994 S16 and a 2001 GTI-6 (as well as some d-turbo's). Such a capable car. Never had a Rallye though. Would love one again, but not sure I could do 'french' again!

My latest shed project. 306 Rallye.

It really isn't an engine out job on these. You don't even have to drop the sub frame. the box drops out the bottom nice and simple.

    decat umming and arring

On your average n/a engine it's not going to make much if any difference. Forced induction is another story!

    Excel help

Other than re-typing it i'm not sure you will as the original isn't in a date/time format. If you've got to do a lot i'd use a vlookup against a table of dates. 2 columns of data like the below and use the vlookup to correct your originals. 1st Jan 2015 01/01/2015 2nd Jan 2015 02/01/2015 3rd...

I have a Clio diesel. I have questions.

It works out at 50 mpg, which is still bloody good!

    Post your 80-140kmh times

I assumed the op wanted in gear times (hence my 5seconds in 4th post). As that takes away any element of driver c**k ups etc

    Exhaust Putty or Sealant?

If it's a decent quality exhaust you shouldn't really need anything, however I find sealant to work best personally. The putty stuff just hardens and falls out. Something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0064YMAYU/?tag=cliospnet01-21

Low good of course! Nope, I didn't miss that at all. It still sounds very fast to me for a std power 172 powered vehichle.

    Sump Plug Key?

Look at the center of each tool - it has the same size hex. That's the exact set I have. From memory a 19mm deep socket fits on it.

    Deleting Songs from iPhone Issue

It still exists - turn on manually control content and nothing syncs automatically - just drag and drop.

    Sump Plug Key?

The double ended ones fit into a socket to can still be used with a ratchet.

Ahh, that makes sense now. I thought you were expecting it to do something different than the chromecast, but you're not. Just get a Pi bought! lol

    Plex

I've used an iPhone app in the past for WOL, that took some setting up but once done it works great. To be honest I just leave my PC running these days, it sits in the garage on 24/7. The Raspberry pi will work as a Plex client, not server. But that's fine as you have the server already (your...

I use it, have done for about 2 years. It's fantastic. I have the app on my iPhone and iPad, and Samsung Smart TV, i've also got my collection shared with friends, family and colleagues so they can watch my films. I've not found the need to pay for the premium version yet, but do keep thinking...

Unless you pic up a satin lacquer, don't lacquer them. It will end up gloss black, not satin!
