Took a couple of hours to do the caliper, disk and pads. Every thing came off very nicely with no hassle what so ever. Had to take the strut brace and engine cover off to get to the brake fluid resevoir tho.
Only one side is done. Went out after dean had a wee strop tonight ;) got the other side to do and bleed the brakes.... see how it goes as im a bit busy tomorrow night for a while :(

Have a few questions for anyone in the know though.............
I took the caliper off to find the outside pad was really worn and the inside pad was not far of new. What could this mean? I would have though that both pads would have been near just as...
Every tyre is poor in the wet imo Ive never had a problem with Kuhmo ecsta tyres in the dry. Wear rate it very good imo when my fronts went i had 16k on them (bought the car with them on)
I now have proxies tr1's. Still poop in the wet. Great when dry.

Shame you had to get rid mate. I feel like putting mine back all the time but im nearly a year and a half through payments so will prob just hold onto it just now! UNLESS i go up to vauxhall this afternoon on my afternoon off :evil:

The drivers side caliper is sticking cause one side to wear the pads and disk. So im just renewing the lot while i have the caliper off.
Im handy with a set off tools but since everything is a first for me on the 172 i thought i had better ask before i start taking...
