yeah maybe mate, its a long shot but worth a try, iirc its on the drivers side and thats wear the noise is coming from! will whip of the bumper and start the car:)

Noticed a strange noise the other day on the cup, was sitting on idle and i could here like a chapping! its not constent its every 2-3 seconds:S not loud either and you cant hear in when its driving. The only thing is i cant work out where its really coming from? Its coming from down the...

what i was kinda getting at mate is, imo clios are pish in any weather other than the dry and even then there twitchy little coonts! Its not a fact of OMG its doesnt have ABS, its that they are crap unless dry! goes for every 172, 182 and v6 one ive been in!

my clutch is hit of miss mate, judders on take off or is very pingy :Sif that makes sence, clutch cable is stiff! i dont see it being a problem as im used to it now! been like that since i got the car so might just be normal. let me know how you get on as my gearbox is getting very notchy in 1st...
