I had stripes on my old 172 and for the exact fears you have, I left them on.
Rather actual stripes than ex-post-van stripes, or keying.
if they're the twin offset stripes though, on an RB, I'd leave them anyway
HDMI is already in use for the main display.
VGA is being used for an auxiliary monitor (which doesn't have HDMI anyway), the only upgrade would be to DVI, if at all.
EDIT:
Clearly I'm not making myself clear enough.
1) Im not changing cables over if I can at all help it
2) I'm already using...
So.
The VGA lead that runs under my carpet has developed some sort of problem which I think is traced to a busted interference block at the PC end.
It's not totally broken, but the monitor now gets plenty of lining and running of colours.
So, without tearing up the carpet and laying in a...
for almost 1% of the time.
Especially for OP. Mostly motorway miles, and even when you get on a B-road, how often do people actually, seriously, deicde to drive on their door-handles?
Keep DCi, get MX5 for cheap-to-run, RWD 'lolz'...hell, they'll even do 35mpg...and servicing can be done by...
It looks a good sight better than if it was dragging its chassis rails along the floor, with some chromed up washing-up bowls as wheels, leant over like the wishbones have snapped.
I know what you mean mr banther and I probably have over-simplified the situation.
But seriously, the maximum speed you'll get from one provider will be the near as damnit the same as with another. The only thing I would say is that if everyone on your street is on, say, Plusnet, go with...
Always love these threads.
It's like asking who does the best electric, EON or British Gas.
Same bits of wire, 99% of the same infrastructure. The only differences are price and service and no-one ever has anything good to say about service, not in this country anyway.
From my angle...
Yellow fogs are the French way (well, were anyway).
I'm not 100% on the MOT issues behind retro-fitting xenons, but if they were factory-fit you would need auto-leveling and washers.
you could fit Xenons from another Mk.3 surely?
It'd probably run into big money, by the time you've put a bumper in place with washers, plumbed in said washers etc, but it'd be 400% legal and a lot brighter.
That said, your fog lights should really be yellowed ;)
Be better off buying a track-ruined MX-5.
Out of your estimates, you'd still have about 3"k left to spend on actual track driving, tuition, transport and buckets of discs, pads, oil and tyres.
Enough to keep you doing laps long after The clio would have spat it's 3rd gearbox.
Hideous.
Like someone left a tonka toy next to a fire for a week, before the dog sat on it.
Still, provided that Harris bloke drives it once, it'll become the "ermahgerd must totes have lol" hatchback of the year.
Why rubber, you scared of wetting yourself?
Surprisingly, there actually some non-genuine mat sets that aren't completely hideous though, according to 15 seconds of ebay
Re: CS Camping Trip 2014 (Details Updated)
just a thought, at least I had some suggestions!
So, we're back to a massive pit-cooking session of bacon and sausage yeh?
