I've tried bleedin' everyone! Might give Tesco a final go before getting this, though it's hard to find anyone who'll cover a 19yr old with 0ncb on a modified car :(
Cheers for the help, I know it might be an obvious question but just wanted confirmation/experience/advice :)
Does anyone on here do this? Is it alright? Are there any underlying charges etc.? I have a quote for a year which is probably the best I'm going to get, still ridiculous though. If I choose to pay monthly the 'total amount payable' is only about 60 quid more than annual, meaning I won't have to...
+1, costs around £40 for both bits, you can just fit them yourself but it's a pain to get to.
When I had this problem it wouldn't start at all and I had the same lights on the dash.
Touché!
On a serious note, you can remove the base from the inside of your car. Ever wondered why there was a little plastic circle above the rear seats?
It's illegal but the police only seem to notice 3/4 plates tbh, and when they DID notice my plate they just said 'it might be best to get that changed mate' aha.
