From Bar Hill it's about another...what... 1/2 hour to Duxford? Maybe 50 minutes. You northerners better watch out tho, A14 is littered with cameras and the Huntingdon-Cambridge stretch is under average-cameras for good measure.

Bar hill tesco is all of about 1 mile of detour, and perfect for a mid-way stop for food/drink/car-wipes/ a dump.
We'll have to exchange numbers nearer the time, but Id imagine you lot will be easy to spot....and Listerine is pretty hard to miss
P'boro is kinda the completely opposite direction for me, but you'll be heading down the A14 so Cambs services or Bar Hill tesco would be better (for me anyway)

In May, however, you will likely get dry bummed.
Just take the hit on insurance, especially if there's collateral damage that you'll be expected to suck up.
Fixing the car is probably going to cost more than buying another one anyway.
