Halfords advanced low profile jack is alright and not too expensive. Preferred it over the sgs as it has a quick lift pedal. Tbh most of the 2-3ton low profile jacks are very similar, anything with a large 100mm plate will be ok. Avoid any 50mm plate hobby style jack, awful to use.

Yes with clip on, get the engine parameters screen up, and crank the engine whilst watching the rpm parameter

Tdc wiring plug is possibly damaged from removing it. Check for rpm on live data when cranking the engine on the starter, if no rpm showing renew the sensor and the plug for the later one.

Does sound like immobiliser issues if the red immob light is not going off when ignition is turned on. Have you disturbed anything in the fusebox under the bonnet?

Yep just ignore any dtc’s that dont trigger the eml/not related to the engine ecu. My old Kangoo had quite a few stored related to other stuff that was not fitted.

Use a resistor on the carbon canister purge valve wiring. 23 ohm rings a bell, buy one with a heatsink on from rs components.

If your not confident in doing the belts yourself, id get it to a specialist, and get them to do a report/rectify if needs be.

Just uninstall clip as normal then reinstall. The windows install will be ok.

Still reckon hes cocked up the timing. Does it sound ok when cranking? I hope a pulley has not slipped due to incorrect torquing.

Id try reinstalling it again, sometimes needs a second attempt to get it running ok. Ive stuck with 178 as works and stable.

Ren0link is epic for programming keys too if you want to invest in some more software and an obdSX lead. It has an option to pull the isk/pin off the uch, super easy to do.

I use v178 and the cracked version is pretty stable. As far as i know its 32bit only.
