Clios are getting almost as bad as S2000's and FTO's. Mind, as many S2ks wind up in ditches as Clios, just the S2ks are more usually standard, wheras the Clio's are all bastardised to one degree or another.

People dont buy Clio's to have them drive well IIRC. It's all about having down-syndrome suspension and foghorn exhausts...and a bucket

90% driver error, usually. If my boggo 172 can handle roundabouts at barely-acceptable speeds, a cup'd 182 should do. Coilovers may help, but only if set-up to be sensible (i.e not "wel sik lowz"). In fairness, I'd keep the Cup suspension and spend the money on a track day with an instructor...

I've always gone for Conti's on my 172. In fairness, that does mean I don't know what the others are like in comparison but I find the Consitsports wear well, grip well in all but snow and aren't massively noisey either
