Re: Good aftermarket headunit which is compatible with the steering wheel control....
for 130? no, not really.
if you want to keep that dashpod going, as said, that's 75 straight away
And then you need a HU with "Vehicle display interface"...
Re: Good aftermarket headunit which is compatible with the steering wheel control....

Re: Good aftermarket headunit which is compatible with the steering wheel control....
You must have had some rubbish sat navs if you're saying an iPhone 'app' is superior.
Re: Good aftermarket headunit which is compatible with the steering wheel control....
Bluetooth I go through my Sat Nav for, and iPod is just 1 lead.... well, ok that's not strictly true. Behind my HU I've got.
iPod & USB leads (trailing to glovebox)
TomTom integration lead (phone and/or nav...
Re: Good aftermarket headunit which is compatible with the steering wheel control....
Doesn't hook into the dash display does it?
Besides, it's Sony ;)
Re: Good aftermarket headunit which is compatible with the steering wheel control....
might have to look at taking that parcel shelf off your hands, where abouts are you (whether to post / collect)
Re: Good aftermarket headunit which is compatible with the steering wheel control....
does it do remote-display out? If not, then you've still got a dead dash-top pod?
Re: Essex Karting meet - Sunday 30th October @ 1pm

THen it's just a case of 50 minutes of casual sunday driving to a "classic" victory.
Just wondering how the circuit powers will take to me covering the...
Re: Good aftermarket headunit which is compatible with the steering wheel control....
I can vouch for this. £75 for the lead, but then you get the screen and wheel-controls.
You need to have a decent HU though, the cheapest ones wont do it, mid-range and above with "remote display" or similar
You'd be better off fitting the under-chassis braces.
There's a UK distributor, but for info...

get your prescription checked.
Ph.1's in silver, on OZ's are gret looking cars.
The renaultsport site doesn't even aknowledge the Ph2 172's, only the Cup
Drivers dont generate traction, abrasive surfaces do!
If you hit black ice, dont think you're going to skill your way out of it.
But I completely agree with the underlying sentiment, people should not drive like dicks in shoddy conditions, irrespective of what rubber they're running
eh?
A good driver can work better with low traction surfaces, but they can't just magic grip up out of thin air like some sort of motoring Derren Brown.
Otherwise Schumacher would never have seen a set of treaded tyres in his entire career.
Must remember to test this out. Anyone got a set of...
Re: Essex Karting meet - Sunday 30th October @ 1pm
I once advised the missus when she went to her first taste of karting.
"dont EVER let off the gas unless you're about to crash"
She promptly wrote off 3 karts in the first lap, as I skipped around the outside into the lead which I held until...
Well, duh, they're Trophee Andros cars.
4 wheel drive and steering and massively studded thin wheels.
oh, and wipers on the side windows too.
My favourite racing series of the winter :)
