Gee, shucks Obcuz.
As it happens, you DON'T have a cup, per se.
You have a 182..... just hat it happens to have the Cup Packs. A straight Cup has naff seats, manual air con and a dashboard made of old Cabury Roses trays :)
you'll be pouring money away for little results on NA, but good for you for not being swayed by boost. NA is for winners.
All the usual "refinements" (filters, exhausts etc.) make the usual differences (none).
ITB's, Cams, removing the Cat etc. seem to be the favourites on here. To be...
Well, not neccesarily, but if you want to run pointlessly low without running on bump-stops, something's got to absorb the bumps.
When you've got 5mm of suspension travel left that just leaves the tyre sidewalls and the car itself.
Gearbox (see if you can get 3rd gear without hassles)
Cam & aux belts done every 60k or 5 years without argument.
There's not much in it between GTi's and 172s.
This happened to me almost every time I did a free-build! So what if the near-vertical drop goes straight into a hard-right corkscrew, grow a set people! :)

I'm not exactly a young-un but I've got some dubious stripes on my 172, yes they look a bit chavvy, but who's to say they weren't put there to mask where some chav keyed something into the...
if you've got the wheels there's a good chance that the full Cup Suspension Pack was fitted.
the Splitter is a plastic strip under the front bumper, typically not body-coloured. If you've got that, again, chances are you've got the Cup Spoiler pack.
which would leave you with a 182 FF, which...
if it's got grey wheels, you MIGHT have the suspension pack (or someone may have just had theirs sprayed)
if it's got a splitter and bigger rear spoiler, it's got the wings pack (or someone's just glued them on)
At least you know for certain it wasn't a 1.2 Shopping to begin with!
Welcome aboard!
Selective yellow fogs are in no way bad on a French car, besides you cant see the wheels when you can see the fogs :)
On a more practical note, if you used Lamin-X then its protection against stones too!
PS, sorry to immediately nick this idea, but I did like it a lot
The boys that saved my PS3 from YLOD & blown Blu's also do X-Box.

They do a mail-order service, so if nothing local comes up it's worth a go.
Get their warranty too and it's covered against all breakdowns again, I did when the Blu-ray died and then the YLOD fix was...
I had a non-gen back box fitted last June.
I now need another one.
Thankfully there is a 2-year warranty so not worried too much.
Buy cheap, buy twice (or not 'buy' as is the case here)
I get what Knuckles means, but the way he says it will lead to flame.
I doubt it's a problem with not looking far enoguh down the road, just a problem with spotting holes in the ground until their fully illuminated

But there's a difference between not wanting to go all OCD about things and start pulling out bits of clay & toothbrushes and just spending a good hour or so in doing a decent job.
THis must just be for people who hate their cars
That's not a particularly great way to start chap.
Attracting Police attention may sound double-hard and really cool but it tends to actually end up being a real ass-ache
