Just a quick word of advice.
since you're going to get bummed by the insurers regardless of what you drive, why not hold back on throwing money at the car and keep your money for things that are somewhat more important:-
Tax
Insurance
Fuel
Servicing
You know, the basics. A car is a lot...
good work!
I always thought if I had a stripped out Clio, I'd sit a 12" in between the seats (behind them).
But, as you point out, that's just a quick way to get your car broken into
exhaust mount maybe?
Mine did the same after a new centre section was put on, only noticeable when there was someone in the back though.
Anyway, yeah, get your mounts checked
Not tried Rainsports, but everyone gfives them good shouts on here.
My own experiences make me lean towards Contisports or Goodyears... F1's or NCT's if you prefer water-displacement over outright summer grip
Given that the rear wheels on the Clio are only there to stop the back of the car grinding across the road, and that the brakes do verry litte, there's no point trying to get clever with them.
Front brakes, different matter of course, but the rears are fine with OEM / Unipart stuff
I dunno about that.
So long as they dont go all out and whack fake badges on it and dont go pretending it's anything more than an MR2 with a bodykit, they aren't so bad.
Clio V6 reps though, they need petrol-bombing. At least the Fezza MR2's haver the engine in the right place... even if...
Contrary to the above.
If your profile summary is correct, you're running a 1.2
Unless you're planning to use the Clio to plough fields, just go with springs. A good sight cheaper and will give you enough lowz to be happy with.... probably.
someone asked about this not too long ago, I believe the general concencus was it'd be a lot of buggering about for not a lot of result.
IN my mind, NA tuning is winners so dont get knocked towards forced induction by the boost crew, go for the revs!
