get good components up front, maybe some cheaper composites for the rear mounts
then it's upto you, if you need boot space, go with 6x9's (stealth shelf)
or if less bothered, sub in the boot.

Have you considered a decent-spec Diesel? Cheaper on all fronts, especially for those long-haul drives. Sure, it wont be an RS (even if you were to waste a...

Unless you want to go whole-hog and start plating-off the underside of your Clio , get a massive set of venturi diffusers and add front winglets. Then the extra inch of rear wing should make some difference once you're up to 80(ish)
