Re: My new uber camp automobile
dont mess with the handling on MX-5's, they go wayward with just poor alignment. well, my Mk.2 did anyway.
keep the money in reserve for a Mohair roof to replace the vinyl one when it starts coming apart. A new roof every 7 years is the norm for vinyl, mohair...
And the update is that after no time at all, and doing very little, it's all fixed
A squirt of WD40 on the connectors and that was all I did. There was no corrosion or dirt built up, did both light clusters and the number plate light whilst I was at it and now all seems dandy
I'm getting a similar problem ,guessing it's the same story.
indicate left, when the lights are on, and I get the rear fog warning light.
going to tear the cluster out and do the above, will update
eh?
Josh says he's pating roughly the same. Sure, he may have some more NCB, but then he hasn't got points.
and any points are a reason for insurers to screw you, hence why barristers make a killing getting people off of points day-in, day-out.
Hell, I've got 11 years NCB, no points, but...
3.5 Honda / Ferrari V12
oh yes
well, apart from in Monaco, where the old Ford Zetec V8's were the ones to have.
Hockenheim, pre-Tilke, with the 1992 grid.
Back then cars sounded different, looked different and were, generally, different.
now the only noticable differences are noseceones. :(
using different size turbines, quitre simply.
a smaller one which will spin up quicker on one bank
then another, larger one which needs more airflow to get on bong, but when it does creates more boost.
by fettling the sizes and various other variables, you can minimize lag quite well...
nah, it'd be fine. the boost will affect all cylindes, irrespective of which compressor it came from.
the best set-up would be:-
some sort of high-revving V-engine
Supercharger for idle-3k
smaller turbo for 3-6k
big turbo for 5.5k - redline
for a 4-pot?
either you have each turbo running 2 cylinders or you can do sequential charging there the exit of one turbo essentially runs into another.
probably sequential charging in this caswe.
for V-enignes you get twin turbo from sticking one snail on each bank
There's always the car park at halfrauds too Tomo.
I saw someone stack into one of the trolley-houses at ASDA in boston a couple of years back. Was so busy laughing I almost went into a lamppost.
then, with a dab of oppo, i was away,
