Yep, what he says ^^ No idea if its the same with Mk1's but on Mk2 Clios you cant just take an ECU from another car and use it because it codes itself to the immobiliser of that vehicle. You have to get it reflashed / reset to use on another car or buy a brand new one.

The problem with 15 mins of tracktime is everyone goes out like complete nutters, ignores everything they've been told in the briefing (who cares if they get black flagged when your only going to do about 4/5 laps anyway), and as happened last year someones bound to go off causing a red flag...

I'm fitting my 4th set of brake pads to the Trophy tonight, done 14k miles. 7 Track days / evenings + 3 airfield days and a ring trip in there though. 12k seems a bit early but if you've done a few track days i guess its probably about right
