CD was essential yes, I did look at Ruark but they are quite expensive too.
Anyway, he has the Roberts now, I played around with it today and I'm impressed by it for the money. Sound quality is great and it's very easy to use :)
Thanks for that, actually ended up going for the 100 version as didn't need the recording feature. Sadly it wasn't on display at my local JL but ordered off Amazon anyway off the back of the reviews.
Anyone using one of the 2015 sony sets?
Thinking of picking one up but read stories of them crashing, would appreciate any views from real people who've used them rather than just the AV nuts online!
My dad just called me asking if he should buy one, and as much as I love the Bose kit I own myself, I cannot bring myself to suggest he buys one as it's very expensive for what it is and how he'll use it.
He wants a CD/DAB/FM player, with built in speakers, that sounds good, is easy to use...
GL05 TKE - My mint inferno cup, was a good one.
SK54 WXN / V11 MRJ - My RB182 FF, still my favourite car I've ever owned, I know it went to the south of France in the end, no idea where since. I'd love to get it back some day.
I was also considering the swap, but I think an external SSD might prove a better increase in performance for the cost.
There are a few articles/blogs/threads online comparing load times, the differences aren't massive but still significant imo.
A bit more fiddling and most 3rd party software just uses iTunes backups to get your data, and if you don't have one it just tries to perform one. Obviously this just fails, so I need something which accesses the phone directly. I'm talking myself into thinking this is an impossible task on a...
So before anyone tells me to use iCloud or iTunes my phone fails to backup to anything official/apple.
I've been through a lot of apple tech support, in store, online and over the phone. Multiple call backs with some customer facing engineer in the states trying to fix this, lots of debugging...
Pneuma breath of life is currently free with gold and is well worth a look if you like puzzle games. Very short but kept us entertained for a couple of hours at the weekend.
As a car game fan I'd say Forza 6, not a fan of project cars with a pad, and even if you own Forza 5, 6 is worth the money for the extra cars/tracks/weather.
Caved last night and got a G920. Lovely piece of kit, although anyone used to a G27 will know that already. Project cars is a lot easier than with a pad but Forza 6 is where it's at with regards to gameplay and feedback. Only bad thing is the brake pedal takes a bit of getting used to but we've...
Possibly should go in Forza 6/Project Cars but alas, anyone bought a G920? - http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/computer-accessories/game-controllers-and-joysticks/logitech-driving-force-g920-racing-wheel-black-10136487-pdt.html
My friend got a G27 on Friday (I'd need a G920 as...
ESD tends to lead to partial damage, which can then cause premature failure of the component (if you're lucky) or worse cause an intermittent issue that you're unlikely to diagnose as a hardware fault.
Just the part appears to function correctly immediately, doesn't mean you haven't damaged it.
The drift camera should have come with 2 battery covers, one solid plastic and one with rubber covers over the connections to connect a mic or usb cable. You need to use the latter to expose the connectors.
I must have been drunk when i replied, as I was talking about using an external mic with the drift rather than recording audio separately.
I have a ghost and this - http://actioncameras.co.uk/drift-3-5-mm-external-microphone, you'd have to call for one for yours as I can't see them online. It's...
