182 started - stalled it - now dead

Could earthing (or lack of) cause this? It must be something simple to make it stop working like it has.

was this super cheap or am i missing something?

You could get belts done for £300 if not a little less so would still be good imo.

SERV + Air bag light- Tried the wiggle wiggle

When mine started playing up it was the connector on the steering wheel column. The top just pulls off and you can see the connection. It came loose when I was trying to pick something that fell down the gap out.

£3k... Can a decent 172 be bought for this? :-)

Try Adrian Flux or something you will get it cheaper than that.

Still can't cost that much at 26 with 6 years no claims surly? £500-600 tops?

    Laptop advice

So so, I would rather have this with your 25% discount though. http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_5536_Laptop_LX.PAW0X.074/version.asp Will take up to 8 GB of memory also. Much better spec all round apart from only coming with 3 GB of ram.

My back box just fell off!

I drove round without one for 2 weeks while I waited for them to fit me in for a new stainless. Be warned, just don't go over 3000 rpm or your ears will start bleeding lol.

    182FF 49.3 mpg

Still a load of rubbish, if you reset it THEN set off you will find it starts off low until you get a few miles on it. It only takes a short distance before it becomes as accurate as it is going to get! 47mpg is the best I've had on a 90 mile journey resetting it before I set off.

Anyone lend me a Ph1 172 CAT for my MOT NW?

Do you know if mine will fit yet 2 live?

    182FF 49.3 mpg

Wtf, what a load of rubbish:S. Plus even if the the computer is not that accurate if your getting 49mpg then it will in reality be at least 45 so the 1*2's are still good on fuel when needed.

Wakefield Mini Meet - Sun 17th January

Sorry should have posted last night but got tied up with other stuff. Full of cold still so standing around in a car park etc probably isn't a good idea for me:(.

Wakefield Mini Meet - Sun 17th January

Not 100% sure I will bother with this one due to lack of funds and the shitty cold I have. I'm happy to convoy if I go, I will let you know sometime tomorrow. I would need my Tomtom to find the way.

    Resistor Pack ph2

I ended up dropping the right hand nut down the side trying to put it back in. It's been to cold to try and get it back:dapprove:.

    Resistor Pack ph2

Remember the metal bit will be out of sight in the air vents. The £30 pund one looks identical to the one I had to change on my Citroen ZX once.

Ouch, only payed £30 for mine 2nd hand.

Thats the same as the one I replaced on mine. The fins go into the air tubes out of sight.
