I have AA breakdown and repair cover, its 65 on top of any breakdown cover they do and you get up to 500 worth of cover upto 5 times a year. all you pay is 25 excess each time. It covered a lot more than the warrenty I was offered when I got mine. The main terms are your car must be serviced...
should put it on once in a while. its not good for it to be off all winter. But yes mine is the same. Only had it a month and have been trying to find a leak or damp patch, looks like its the same prob as everyone else.
It did but the first few times I floored it in 2nd, I found I was concentrating on the road and keeping the wheel straight on the cr_p roads my way that I kind of forgot about the gears once or twice:o
Arnt the council not meant to fix some of these with our ripoff council tax aswell. Roads my way are sh_t also:( . As for that loose stuff it aint great for your tyres either!. Cheap for them and passing the expense to us, TW_TS:mad:
Even when it does come on I find it hard to notice it down there, especialy when your in T*AT mode. Only time I noticed it was when I first got the car and was trying things out or making mistakes with my changes:nono:
I've seen a blonde in a silver phase 1, Works at one of my local colleges.
Off topic but do they sell the 99 ron at tesco Brighouse, because they dont at that cr_p one in town?
I was after a red or black to start with, but ended up with an iceberg. Like the others say it has a nice tint of blue to it that sets it apppart from all the other silver cars out there:) . When clean it looks really nice and has grown on me alot now. God dam it, it needs a good wash after last...
When I got mine I got 1 month with the car and I also took out AA breakdown and repair cover (neighbour works for them so get 15% off). Even without the discount it looks good. You can get it as long as you have normal AA breakdown cover, from £45 up and then for an extra £65 you get the repair...
I would say it is as conclusive as any test that people seem to do on the open road on this site! All it does is show that there isn't as much in it as some petrol heads would like to believe
f**k OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT????
Look it up on there website if you dont believe it;) . Is there any need for that kind of talk?
I was just coming to this;) Did no one see when they tested these 2 cars together on 5th gear???? 0-60 win for the vxr, rolling start to something (I can't remember) derv wins. Round the track the vxr took it by about 0.2 sec. So imo it could have gone either way, its down to the driver not...
1.6 clio shouldn't be too bad;) , although I didn't look into them when I was looking for a new car a few months ago. It depends how much room you need also? I think Lupo's are expensive for what they are, you would be better with a Seat Arosa if you want something that small. For 3500 my money...
esp is electronic stability program. from what I know the focus 2.0 is not good on fuel. 1.6 and 1.8 are slow. tdci expensive. You could get a very nice 1.8 astra sri or sxi for 3500. they handle well and are quickish and you will get 40 mpg out of them. imo I also think they don't look to bad...
You might as well get a 172 fo the amount of fuel a 2.0 focus will sup. have you thought about a astra 1.8 sri. Cheeper than the focus and insurance shouldn't be to bad ;-)
Yep, thats just like mine. Has yours always been like this and have you ever looked into it further. I just tried the pedal on a friends 1.2 clio and hers didn't do this. Going to take it back to the garage I got it from today and see what they say.
Track day sounds good to me, never done one:) (or a meet for that matter:o ).
As for my brakes, I was thinking could it be the fluid being to low or would that make the light come on the dash. I have been thinking so far it can't be that bad as there has been no warning lights yet?
They arn't that bad they do work well kind of. It is just the travel on the pedal seems short and hits the floor. Going to take it back again tomorrow and see what they say. I am hoping he has another in stock so I can compare it.
Oh and Rob I will come to a meet but I think I will be to...
Well I have had my brakes bled now (so they say?) and they still dont seem much better in that the pedal still hits the floor. Any one have any other ideas that I can look into?
Cheers:o
Cheers, will deffo get my self to a meet sometime in the not to distant future. Was wanting a black one to start with but I am happy with the silver now:)
