also the rear brakes seize on due to the rear discs rusting and the pads then stick to them but this is completley normal

thats the Catalitic converters, the mk1 has twin CATS the manifold is a 4-1 on the mk1 (the manifold is the bit between the engine and the CAT)

you can can get a 10hp gain (approx) if you use a viper + exhaust and an SMT-6 the 172 uses a 4-1 manifold the 182 uses a 4-2-1 manifold which is awesome
