you shouldnt measure to their mate, to imprecise, measure from the floor to where the front bumper/wing meet
to your "inaccurate" system mine is = 57cm
to my method mine is = 54cm

airbags are easy peasy, on the large block conector youll see 4 wires (pinky/beige colour)
you need 2 x resistors (you already know the ohm rating)
put the resistors over these wires (cant remember whichway you do it, ill check)
still chocka blockmate, sorry for the short reply
Danny, you use resistors over the connections, tricks the airbag computer into thinking the airbags are still there
