wheels wont fit, wrong offset and PCD you can put any engine in any car, it just all depeneds on how much money youve got!!!! Youll need custom mounts, driveshafts looms wont work etc etc

is it a good idea to paint the inlet surface??? i hope you havent done the exhaust side too!!!! will it form a 100% seal between the inlet and the head with the paint on there??? (looks cool though!)

yep gearbox (prob gonna be off a diesel van!!) The lump im using is a F4R turbo engine (looks the same as a 172 engine but isnt) gonna need bigger injectors plus some other stuff, budget is about £2500-£3000 should be good for well over 200bhp

na mate, just getting started!! i think im gonna have a crack at doing it, but if not, mr GDI will be getting a phone call!! i have SO many parts you wouldnt believe!!!!

The engines im using are already low comp, i think theyre 8.6:1 IIRC plus my engines have much stronger cranks and blocks, different head (no VVT) youd be surprised by the difference in crank between the 172 and turbo!!!
