John, the only problem with a centre exit is that you need to have your spare wheel tray cut out + a plate welded over the LARGE hole!!!!

Ok ill clear this up!!!!!! Standard 15inch wheels on a clio ARE ET48 BUT if you upgrade to 17s in an ET48, the wheel wont fit on because it wont fit pass the strut cup where the spring sits. The wheel needs to sit further out so it can fit the arch (remeber that a 17inch wheel is 7inches...

Its a bit lower than that now cos the springs are bedded in, do 60mm, 40mm just looks standard still!!!! Dont woory about shocks, the std ones are fine!!!! (had mine on for 30000miles!!!!!!!)

You can get 17s on with a 60mm drop NO PROBLEM!!!! I reckon you can even go to 18s on 60mm a drop

dramatik, I use 7x17inch ET37 with a 60mm drop and have NO problems at all (even with a car full of people)
