dont bother getting the pre-primed spoiler cos its exactly the same as the un-primed one, buy the normal one and take it to a body shop, theyll prime and spray it for you. Honestly dont pay £250
ive just done mine today, and it looks mint. £250 bloody hell, Renault are taking the piss!!!!! i did mine for a total cost of £15!!!!! You could drive to my house, give me £15 and drive home all for less than £250!!! A decent bodyshop shoulddnt charge you anymore than £50-£70to do your spoiler
its kindve hard to explain, but the 1500grit wet and dry paper when wet removes only tiny amounts of material, it doesnt damage the paint work. Although if you keep doing it then youll eventually take off too much paint, just like if you T-cut your car too much youll eventually get down to the...
Ok i decided to hack up a 106gti rear bumper. i cut the bottom off and turned it upside down, it looks mint on the back of my clio. All it needs now is a bit of fibreglassing plus a bit of p38 and it will be finished
get 17s, i promise you wont regret it!!!! Jamies MK2 172 looked brilliant on 17inch SuperTs (not lowered, and it didnt look like a rollerskate) Blokes would be far more impressed if youre cruising about on 17s rather than the "half-hearted" 16s (i dont think your other half would like it...
dont use a markerpen!!!!! But the new touch up kit from MER. Basically what you do is fill the scratch with touch up paint, then you leave it to set, add another coat if needed and then rub down with 1500grit Wet and dry paper (soaked in warm water and fairy liquid)(moping) You then wipe the...
johnboy???? is your car a dynamic 1.2 16v??? if it is, i didnt know pipercross did a viper for them. £250, you must be mad!!!!! i thought mine was expensive at £120!!!
Yes my car is lowered (40mm on Apex springs done by myself and jon16v) and the Handlng is 10x better with the 17s on. Suspension Affects Warranty, but if anything goes majorly wrong on my car, i can return it back to normal in a few hrs. As for the Exhaust, i believe Scorpion (and maybe Peco) do...
Aldon Automotive in Briely Hill near Merry Hill do UNICHIPS. im thinking about getting one but dont know if it will fit on cos of the electronic throttle
Ive got 17s on my 2001 clio and its lowered 40mm (APEX springs) theres loads of room, no scrubbing. Im going to lower it 60mm on SPAX springs or, depending on cost, coilovers
it can be done, but theres not much point really. If you want it done go for a 172 set up front and rear (will be expensive). But most of the braking is done on the front anway, and i doubt theyll be much difference if you have rear discs. Anyone else confirm??? (i maybe wrong)
ive got a 1.2 16v and no one does a chip for it. i want more power also so im getting the head done, the cat off +full exhaust (ive already got a piperX inductiion kit) then im going to speak to dastec (UNICHIP) and see if they can fit a unichip to my car, so the whole lot is set up properly...
I read an article in REVS once about a saxo that had a roof mounted spoiler and it caused too much downforce and put pressure on the rear screen causing it too blow out!!!!!!!!
