Re: Ph1 172
Tried starting but battery needs a bit of juice
So I got it as far as I could whilst I wait for a solderless nipple, charger, custom DCOE flanges and hoses.
I want to tidy up the bulkhead but Nimbus is too expensive, anything else out there?
Picks up a bit better, more responsive, better engine braking, gear changes feel better.
A bit of steel is a bit of steel, it looks fine. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?730923-Breaking-left-over-billet-flywheel-cup-shocks-driveshafts-exhaust-rear-lights
I'd be careful with port size. I got Andrew to go to the maximum of the Renault gasket. I'd decided to go for the standard port size as I wasn't planning massive power and I'd prefer to keep the gas speed and torque higher.
If you planning over 230-240bhp or so then maybe a step up to 197/200...
No concourse at FCS or Trax etc? I won a class at Modified Live with my Fez, if you stuck yours up on ramps with mirrors it'd surely win something!
Cheers mate :) tbh its just a track **** really, the shell has a couple of parking dents, the rear bumper has a scrape and the front has a mark...
I thought it was going really well and was sooo impressed by the shine on the exhaust. And then I saw a rusty driveshaft, rusty lower arm bolt and a rusty tie rod...unacceptable!!!
On a serious note, are you going to enter this for concourse?
Re: Ph1 172
No I haven't got a standard RR printout but it didn't feel that fast. It won't have been more than 160ish and about 140lbft, typical ph1 figures.
This is what I need to improve on with the ITBs
