I think you've answered your own question there m8. Oil leaks (certainly of the severity that you mention) are beyond the realms of day-to-day car owners - myself included. Even though money's tight, I'd definitely bite-the-bullet and get the car down to Dan ASAP. Surely his inspection of the...
Doing really well m8! Very happy here and life's peachy with my gf! :o
Cleaned both of our cars earlier in the underground - there's even a mini boiler on the wall for hot water :) The only slight downside is the lack of natural drainage. As a consequence, they ask that you sweep any excess...
Can you not just reset the device with a reset button/pin-hole? By default, it should reboot into DHCP anyway, which would eliminate the address issue. Unless there's another network device answering DHCP requests nearby?

Good shout - that's what I'd be checking first as well. If no joy with a standard CAT5 cable, try a different port on the router - just on the off-chance one of the pins has bent/socket damaged, etc.
Some of the CCTV playback we have here has issues with DirectDraw - basically, we have to...
I suspect a fair few PC gamers will be aware of this already?

It's a Blizzard product, based on the environment of World of Warcraft - and is essentially a card game where your aim is to defeat your opponent at the top of the screen.
It's very simple to...
Selfie quote time ;)
Well I went for the gamma release on Steam as it dipped below £20 briefly. First impressions? It feels funnily enough, very much like TA. It takes a bit of getting used to with your eyes looking and scanning over a curved surface - rather than the usual flat terrain.
One...
Some great photos there :) Loved New York when I went - so full-on and manic.
Money no object, I'd love an apartment there. But I could never live there permanently - it would do my head in!

Yeah - we're pretty lucky m8. The lighting isn't too bad either - though that doesn't really show in the picture. We got the bay to the right of the Clio too (looking at it), so there's plenty of space to have kit out and ready to be used in a cleaning session. There's even the little concrete...
We were pretty much 'forced' to purchase an underground spot due to the parking spaces outside being monitored by the love-children of Stalin and The Worst Parking Management Company, going. We got a ticket within the first few weeks (£60) for not displaying a small permit, even though our reg...
You're not a million miles from the lads at Birchdown just outside Malpas. Do you think it would limp there?
As MartinR says, I wouldn't just throw the towel in just yet!

Re: My new car. TTQS
Lol - me neither! :o Would be good to know what's happening under the bonnet on the move though. Those engine coolant temps on your first screenshot are very impressive - only 5C difference? Typically 90C is the norm anyway, isn't it?

If it's having all this work done - get the gearbox oil dropped and changed too.
Definitely worth it if there's no previous record of it having been done.

Nabbed Heavy Rain off eBay for around £7. Looking forward to giving that a try.
Also started to download Uncharted 3 via the PlayStation Store. Only went for the initial £5.49 month membership, so I've got literally 4 weeks to play it - lol.

Epic purchase! Even if it does get a bit too much - you've ticked a Bucket List option for many people!
It's the mid-range ability that appeals to me the most - overtaking on A-roads, going down a motorway slip-road and of course, being able to carry more speed through corners that you would...
I suspect that there aren't that many unfortunately. The very nature of the PC platform is that you're up close to the screen, rather than reclining on the sofa, staring at a large flatscreen.
Even the likes of Diablo 3 aren't as good on the PC as they are on the 360, imo. The PC version...
Cheers all! There are quite a few mentioned there that I have on PC - Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite are two that I've noticed. I've got Dead Space (various ones) too. I'm definitely taken by TLOU and and really liked one of the GoW games on the PSP - so I'll keep an eye out for them. :)
Any...
I can barely remember just how nippy those R5 GTT's were back in their early days! I passed my test in early '92 - so you're a few years on from me. Still, good to look back and reminisce, eh? :)

Chaps,
Kinda late to the PS3 - but couldn't refuse when one came up cheap!
I'm after a few suggestions - in particular exclusives to the platform that AREN'T fps games. I've more chance of controlling fps games with my todger on a pad compared to the winning input of keyboard and mouse.
I've...
I deplore auto shotguns in games like this! Even back in the days of BF2, the unlocked DAO for the engineer was always changed to the MP7 for me.
Granted, you get nailed from anything over 50ft away, but in close proximity maps, the auto-shottys are just too over-powered. Do you even really...
Depends on how much you like your sister!
You could be cheeky and offer her the £250 - but certainly no more than £300 all in. The specs are ok, but its pretty much what it is, with extremely limited expansion possibilities mainly due to the uATX motherboard. Use it for what it was designed...
