I'll have to try that then. I've simply ignored it as an option as obviously the G25 wheel won't work with the 360. Does it take a while to get used to it?

Ah! You had the 2600 game Tutankham as well? :)
Only 4 levels, but feck, I played that thing to death. Level 4 was a b**ch - even when I had the quicker reactions as a kid.
Awesome. :)

Just noticed how god-awful those wing mirrors look on that! Looks like some antennae stolen off a insect! :dead:
I've cancelled my order for one now.
;)

I personally wouldn't want to run any card like that - lol! :)
Had issues way back before in the 7900GTX and 9800 Pro days. Crappy passive cooling on them - replace and restick and everything's happy. Having air running as well would help, but doesn't that kinda defeat the exercise?

Can you ever repaint the OEM alloys in this game? Some of those after-market ones on offer are truly shocking! Some cars have classic alloys, but I'd like to get a bit artistic with them. ;)

Orcs Must Die is brilliant - really clever take on the tower defence game. Get's fecking hard towards the end though! Give me a shout if you need erm, 'help' on those later levels.... ;)

Brilliant to start off with - crippled by a stupid auto-levelling of the zombies. Multiplayer is PISS easy.
Start at Level 1 - the zombies are Level 1 or 2
Progress to Level 5 - the zombies are Level 5 or 6
Progress to Level 10 - the zombies are Level 10 or 11
Walk into a building at Level 15...
Wow - doesn't sound good! :(
I suppose being at the cutting edge always has potential risks and issues. But even so - the problems with the VRM you would have thought would be fixed and addressed long before release?
D.
Not really. That's like saying everything produced in 2011/12 will always be much better. It isn't, and probably never will be.
I haven't got the C64 anymore (shame :() - but I do have the A500 still knocking about. Firing up old kit is always good for a blast of nostalgia!

Lol. I'm wondering if that's an age thing? I used to play games on the PC with music coming out of the stereo at the same time. That would drive me insane if I did it now! Maybe you multi-task less, the older you get? :)

The clear point made by this clip was just how thrilled LH was to drive that car. I'd even argue that he would have had just as much fun if it hadn't been piloted by Senna!
By his own admission (around the 3.20 mark) - he says that it's nothing like the current car he drives and the level of...
Flol!
What's the trick with the pumps and radiators? Is it better to have a faster through-flow, or have colder water and not flowing as quickly? I guess there would be pros and cons to each?

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy C&C4. I bought it in the last sale for £3.74 and it's not even worth that. Utter shite. The very core being of the C&C franchise has been ripped out (that of base building and unit development) and instead relies on a weird and seemingly pointless effort to complete...
Cheers guys. I'd MUCH prefer to hear from people who've been there and done it, rather than having several dozen opinions off various websites. :)
I take it that once you've got the kit though, moving forward with new components is literally just a case of replacing the GPU, CPU and RAM...
PC mob - any decent mods out there worth nabbing? I wouldn't mind one that reduced your carrying capacity - having 38 weapons to hand at any one given time is a little mongy, imo.
I heard that the first attempts are online multiplayer are out there, but it's very, very basic at the minute...
You sound in the same boat as me, m8! Tended to stick with Asus mobos myself as well, though I have dabbled with MSI and Gigabyte before now. Never did try DFI back in their day, though.

Golden years. Back when everything was mechanical and the onboard computer was the drivers' brain.
Almost appears like childs-play (though granted, it clearly isn't) - in current F1 where clutch settings can be determined by an engineer on the pitlane wall, in comparison.
Truly epic.

Chaps (Scone, Gareth, Munson, in particular) - what would I be looking at in terms of expense switching from air to water for cooling?
I've got an i7 (LGA1366) sat on an Asus Rampage III Extreme, which iirc, is the same board that Gareth uses? I'm currently running two GTX460s as well and would...
PMSL. Can you seriously imagine Superfast on a console????
I've give the console 24mins to live - assuming it was lucky. And 20mins of that would be setting up his profile!
