Totally agree. That's why I preferred the 6 or 7 (can't remember exactly) different classes of BF1942 and BF2 over the 4 we see in more recent games. Make each have a specific 'bonus' for choosing it - rather than the super-kits that can be achieved.
On the helos and planes, I really liked that...
^^^ - well said, that man! I'd like to add loads more options, but I'd be pushing the whole BF playing formula more down a simulation route and probably destroy what makes it so good. That said, I'd like to see a wider range of character classes like the older BF games and also insist that the...
I never completed it! It seemed to go well at the start and then the difficulty really did ramp up. I actually preferred the follow-up - Terror from the Deep, but after that the series started to wain imo.
Definitely one that should be given a new lease of life!

It's a good no-brainer shooter, Royston. Non-to-cerebral and probably not that long (though I've yet to finish it). Check out some of the sniping here on the consoles....
It's MUCH easier and precise with K&M! Not a single headshot in that clip - tsch! ;)

Is that the original X-Com : Enemy Unknown? I was going to say Laser Squad (the grand-daddy of them all) but the graphics are much more up-to-date in that pic. :)
Not quite m8 - it wasn't actually a Sid Meier game this....

As per usual, Ant's on form with his Evo Crack Habit - looks awesome!
I'm normally a BIG advocate of black alloys. But those whities up front definitely look the part. Surely a man of your means could have two sets - one of each colour? ;)

Yep, pretty much identical. I've used DVI on my PC for years - massively superior than basic VGA. But I wish I'd stumped up the extra £20 or so and got my Iiyama monitor with the additional HDMI connector - simply to connect the 360 Bookend into it as well.
HDMI audio on monitors/screen circa...
Wow - I was pretty damned impressed with it on the PC!
It's been really enjoyable for me so far. Proper tongue-in-cheek and completely OTT. And I've simply not tired of the sniper rifle - that is epic.
Oh, and the fact that you get bonus points (skillshot) for shooting an enemy in the balls...
Vote for me as Prime Minister. I will make it part of the National Curriculum. Any kid wanting to thumb-twiddle instead would be took to one side and slapped.

Re: [PC/PS3/Xbox 360] - Portal 2 - Official Thread
Portal 1 was superb. Was great getting stuck on a level and then finally working it out. :)
I posted on here when I got stuck, asking for help. :o

Got two of these up front on the 182 at the minute. Not as good as the Dunlop SP Maxx's that they replaced, but really only anything of worth that the garage had in at the time.
They will get spanked when I drive up to Scotland next week, so I will let you know. :)

Wozzaa - are you on Crossfire at the minute? If so, just try installing the old ATi CCC 10.5 drivers. I have this issue with Battlefield BC2 to this very day - where any newer driver after 10.5 creates massive flickering through my Crossfire'd 4890s. BC2 is the ONLY game that does this -...
PMSL! Not wanting to get into the PC/console debate again - but seriously - in-game text with a pad?! I would have been killed 5 times over before I'd typed two letters!
