Lol - spoken like a true PC user! :) Things like 'slow downs' don't bother us as we normally find the issue within a couple of minutes. It's not as forgiving or informative from the Mac OS point of view. "Problem? What problem? We're still shiny - there's no problem here..... Move on." ;)
Erm...
If Acer's website shows the Aspire 9300 as having Windows 7 driver support - then I'd strongly suggest going for that. Although Windows 7 isn't as clear-cut as a Mac in order to reinstall its OS, Windows 7 is still straight forward. Much more so than XP, imo.
Don't forget, XP was released in...
Another one?! You must have had to bribe Carmen with some serious offers of shopping to get another car! :) Which one are you looking at getting?
Yes m8 - your pic of the AG200 was the basis of me trying similar pics. Looked great in yours!
Roughly £400 in five days - the biggest chunk of...
As a follow on from my thread from months ago.....

My m8 and I (StevieGreenstuff off here) finally made the epic trip northwards last Thursday morning. Up early...
Without wanting to sound like a miserable cnut - I agree with you. Mod the Civic to death by all means, but leave the Teg well alone! Surely half of what makes that car great (the other half being the engine) has now been ruined by making it suck tarmac?
Silly imo. But each to their own and...
It does, tbf m8. I know us WASDees still harp on about the original Crysis - but it does make such a difference being able to see a long way. Distant enemies, vehicles - even following the path of bullet drop all add to the experience. Put another way, I would ALWAYS max out draw distance in...
That bloke is lined up for a spit-roasting off Royston and I....
Epic, positive and forward-thinking comments. I'm so glad that someone in a position of influence has had the balls to stand up and be counted for what us WASDees have been saying for years.
Top man.

Probably Rush Mode about 90% of the time. But I do try to engage brain-before-mouse most of the time. :) I'm much more of a support player than a lone-player charging ahead to reach the objective.
One tactic that I'm really beginning to hate on BC2 is when the attackers put C4 on the MCOM, but...
Chaps,
Is anyone on the ball with regards to streaming CCTV at depots and transferring the streams back to head office?
I've got the initial queries that need addressing I think - the huge bandwidth considerations, cost of cameras, backup requirements at H.O etc? But if anyone implements or...
That's still impressive though m8 - regardless of how long it's been on. My i7 is in the low 50's C and has a bloody big Noctua HS&F dumped on top of it. ;)

Another one from me (even though no one's got my original one yet :))......
I pumped hour after hour into this. Completed it several times on the hardest difficulty and read the manual from cover to cover - back in the days when we had real manuals.
Sh1t like this just isn't made any more...
Does seem a little hot that Chris - given that you say it's constant at that. Jain's MacBook with the older Core 2 Duo doesn't get anywhere near that hot, imo. My work's HP Centrino-based laptop could however make a full English if I left it on for an hour in the morning.

I'll give you a hint on mine - it had the word 'Master' in the title.....
Oh, and if anyone gets the one below, I will be thoroughly impressed! Looking at circa 1992 or thereabouts for this....

Pretty damn impressive for a MacBook to be running an i7 and having decent battery life.
How does it handle the bane of all Apple users apparently - the noise? Must have some impressive cooling on there - either that, or it drops it CPU clock speed at every given opportunity?
