That be Titan Mode. The best game mode on it, imo. :)
Wash your bloody mouth out! :rasp:
Tbf, I didn't see what all the fuss was about on its release. I was a BF1942, then BF2 player before it and 2142 just appeared to be a bit chaotic and frustrating at the same time. You got about about 20%...
Well, I'm still reinstalling the occasional game on the new i7 system and this weekend, I got around to Battlefield 2142.
As a few people may know from other threads & posts - I really do hold this game in very high regard indeed. It maybe from 2006, but the balance of map design, units and...
I know a few people on the CS Steam group have this, but a heads-up for those that don't! It reminds me of mish-mash between Alien Syndrome and Gauntlet. A 4-player co-op game but with a more up-to-date feel.
More importantly, I cannot believe that these guys gave it away for free...
Lol - I did think it was a setup at first, but watch when he either let's go of the mouse, or moves it in a way that appears 'wrong' - it does exactly that on the screen. I pwn'd all on my Atari at the age of 6 on Defender, but I don't think I was ever that good at 3 - lol!

Looks like I'll just have to stay clear of playing against Korean players.... ;)

I'd try the Intel PRO Wireless ones first - see how those go. But if you have a legit copy of Windows and have the wired network card drivers already installed, Windows Update will 99% of the time find the correct wireless drivers for you....

I see where you're coming from, but it's about the enjoyment of the game more than anything - rather than how it 'should' be played online. Like I openly admitted, I'd get slaughtered online even by a 6-year-old because of the way I play it.
I absolutely loved the campaign mode of the CoH...
The worst crime HP is guilty of is about half-a-dozen network card drivers for the same bloody PC! That really does make my piss boil - especially when you need the network first to do anything after that!
The VAST majority of stuff you won't need in all fairness.
D.
So very true. I played a Capture Point game on CoH a while back and the opposing guy simply built three of his fastest units and sent them out to capture the points. When he had over half of them, it was virtually impossible to claw the game back as I simply didn't have the resources to attack...
Goddamn right!
I was on that only last night - chucked up a skirmish game of me versus two CPU opposition and won. That said, I did 'cheat' slightly by making both opposition teams the Panzer Elite on a map where only two fuel points exist - one of which I surrounded with defences! As...
Lol. If you're finding this RTS difficult, what bloody chance have mere minion players got with it?! :)
I'll definitely acquire the demo (assuming they do one) but I'd rather they just concentrated their efforts on getting Diablo III out instead, first. Never did really like the first StarCraft...
Operation Anchorage? Yep, that was pretty weak. I've said the same thing before about the DLCs - the ones for Fallout 3 were very 'random' I thought. Yet the ones for the previous game Oblivion were very well crafted and fused with the main game almost seamlessly.
D.
Ah - well there's a logical reason anyway!
I don't 'think' I have a picture of it - certainly not while I'm at work anyway. I'll check if have one at home. Looks like the pic on K-Tec's site of the rear view isn't there either?
D.
They probably do one like standard, but I really don't see the point. While I'm not advocating cracking windows and setting off car alarms everytime you start your car, surely being a RenaultSport, kind of suggests that it should be louder than a stock Clio?
I was genuinely embarrassed by how...
Might be of some use, m8....

I've got triple channel stuff with my current i7. But I had a first-gen quad-core Phenom before running DDR2, so I can't really compare! :)
D.
Why does that seems so ridiculously over-priced wherever I've seen it?
I fired up the original StarCraft last year as I missed out on it the first time around. I still don't really get the appeal - both with that and the older WarCraft games. I know they sold in their thousands, but compared to...
Got it copying across in 20mins, m8. :)
Whacked the old mobo in a PC carcass and it still had the CPU, HSF and memory bolted onto it. I just attached it to the chassis, found an old drive with WinXP preinstalled on it and added the chipset & RAID drivers when it booted. Shut it down and added...
I'd definitely leave the Clio badge on the rear. It will look a little too bare without it, imo. Doesn't the boot Clio badge have a peg on it too for the mounting, iirc?
Does look very smart, however. :)
