My current Clio would be quicker than my old civic, handles better etc. the previous clios would be on par, and I'm not just saying this as its my new car. If the civic was running say kpro then yeah he would beat you. As standard they are about the same.

Think my best was around 2.14 in my phase 1. Last time I went in the civic it was about the same. I took chii's car out and people noticed a pick up in lap times, no idea what they were and cared even less as it was so much fun. Inspiration to getting what I have now which would piss all over...

Rs tunning is a winner mate. Why do I keep coming back? Great fun to drive, generally reliable, cheap to buy and pound for pound they are hard to better

My geography is crap lol but I'd take a drive over too Birchdown in Cheshire. In on my third Clio and the ones before had the belts done allready. My new car is due on age and will be getting it done soon, by Birchdown.

If timing is out then it will run rough mate or if its been done not very well before. Best thing to do mate is take it to someone. Where are you based?

Mine is lumpy. I've changed the leads and thermostat, the latter to rectify the temp gauge. Seems better

Tbh i think it looks fine. Bodywork in the pics looks good. Yeah its been lowered a touch too much but aslong as the car has been looked after mechanically then all is well. Looking at his clio which looks nice btw, how many people who viewed it thought that looks like its had a hard life and...

I would say run it and see if it comes back on mate. If your that concerned though take a coil pack (has it got leads?) and and a set of plugs, I have the latter as I swapped my plugs today and there was nowt wrong with the old ones
