Cracking motors there. That black 172 is probably the cheapest car there and it looks great. Nicely fettled!
The GT3RS and R26R both look the tits. :)

I thought Dogmeat was pretty useful, tbh. I stuck with him for most of the time and I'm sure he got tougher as your own experience and abilities grew.
Sent him back to the Vault near the end though - just so Fawkes and I could go on a Goody-Goody rampage. Collect those fingers! :)

Re: Oil level. WFT
Good point!
They may have forgot/not bothered/not arsed to have topped it up in the first place.
My car has had 9 oil changes now and inbetween those changes, its not used a drop.
D.
Hopefully its not them. I changed them myself for a new set of NGKs a few months back. Such a shame the bloody inlet manifould has to come off to check. :( Might be worth doing though - cheers!
I would have posted up a sound clip, but its being an arse today. ;) Drove out this afternoon...
Lol - a bloke at the Burnley Motorpoint took the piss when I went look at a Ph2 172 there. He offered just £2k for my PGGT.
They were clearly on drugs back then. Maybe they haven't changed!

What's that? :o
No m8 - just really sat there at idle and blipping the throttle slightly. Bottom end issues = big money?
Ah, another idea! :) Would it make a tapping noise though?
Get up here m8 and we can compare tapping noises! ;)
ROFL! Good answer! If its been doing it that long...
Ah. There's a thought. Would noisy injectors necessarily indicate a problem though? The car itself drives fine - no lumpiness, or stuttering - and has smooth and progressive delivery of power. It also idles spot on. It just taps a lot! :)
D.
If I hold the throttle at around that rpm - the noise stays continious - though obviously quicker than at idle. The 1,300rpm mark does seem to be there or thereabouts where the rapid 'tapping' is at its loudest. Like I said, I think it's there during the higher rpms, but the overall engine noise...
I would say so Russ - but the background noise of the engine makes it more difficult to hear properly. Once sat in the driver's seat - you can hear it more 'clearly'.
It sounds around where the oil filler cap area is.
Bit vague, I know. :(
D.
Chaps, I was hoping for some ideas or suggestions as to what a noise could be on my 182.
Basically, at idle, the car makes a tappety noise. It's more noticable in the car than under the bonnet, tbh. I've never really bothered with it much as you have to focus your hearing to hear it in the...
The M3A78 mobo appears to use the SB700 chipset. On a previous mobo, I had a few stability issues on an older SB600 based mobo when running XP. Ironically, it ran perfectly when Vista was installed!

The Milltek does sound good.
On a slightly different note, I wonder what suspension setup they have on the car? The stance looks great in the attached link...

Well, for my 10p worth - you could got for a 4800+ if that saves you much? My dad has that CPU running Vista Home Premium with 4GB onboard. He uses his PC for internet, email and doing a fair amount of picture capture/printing - and that CPU manages no worries.
Also, on the mobo - how's about...
Still being a newbie to the open source mob, I'm a little bit stuck. :)
Basically, I've got a PC with three HDDs which I want to setup the following with...
1x 500GB for use in a Windows XP SP2 RAID
1x 500GB for use in a Windows XP SP2 RAID
1x 160 for use with UbuntuBasically, I've got the...
They sure are. Either Windows 7 is going to be THE b****cks - or they are cutting the hassle with Vista. Either way, it's intriguing.
Personally, I think Vista is great for new comers to PCs. And it looks a whole lot better too. But on the cons side, I use my PC mainly for gaming and apart...
Microdirect, m8. The Upper Brook Street store had two in yesterday so I nipped down and bought one. :)

The clutch itself is no more than a gas-resisted pedal - just in the same way that both the brake and go pedal are. You...
