Yep, it’s across the board I’m afraid. I paid £60 a couple of years ago.
I paid £90 for 16GB to go in my pc and the exact same spec now is selling for £130+ second hand.
As @matt123roll said it’s a very simple job with loads of guides on YouTube.
Mines a ‘Mid 2012’ model, they came with an i5 or i7 processor.
Oh, and good luck finding 16GB of RAM for £50 at the moment...prices are through the roof.

I’ve got far too many games I’ve started and not finished. Doom, Mad Max, Hitman, Halo 5, Gears of War 4. I could look at a list and keep going for a while.
I keep telling myself to get through some of what I’ve got before buying anymore, it just doesn’t help when there’s always a sale on...
I’d imagine the apps were tied to the registry files on your old install of windows. I’d try downloading them to the second drive again and it may just skip what it doesn’t need.
