Apparently not. They probably can, but no doubt that would open up the whole potential of increased clocking of cars, etc.
The thought did cross my mind last night, to put it up for sale.....
"2004 Clio 182 in Black Gold. Car is hardly ever used (hence low mileage) - much cheapness price of...
Hehehe - not quite!
Remember I mentioned about the faulty ESP switch on my car? Renault's eventual answer - give him a new display console! Obviously, the downside to that is that the mileage is back to zero - but I've got documentation (with Renault letterheads) stating what the mileage was...
In all seriousness, is there much to be had from that, Matt?
I take it that the engine and tranny should be ok though? Maybe extras like the light clusters and stuff, too?

Had this for a few weeks, straight from O2.
Then The Matrix went on general release and they were like rocking-horse-sh1t to get hold of. ;)
Some of the offers I got at work to buy just the phone off me, were stupid. I just can't believe that people get so needy with mobile...
Don't scare me, Maz! ;)
Like I said before. If I was buying a 2nd hand RS Clio in particular - I'd put far more faith in a log book stamped with the likes of RenTech, GDI, RS Tuning, etc than normal Renault garages.
These specialists see the same components day in-day out and often...
Great looking car, Herdie!
Do you use it as a daily driver too, or is it strictly reserved for the track?
How does it compare (purely in running costs) to the 172? I need to get my sums together for when I get one. ;)
Did you not go to the MLR track day at Oulton last Friday?

Mid-34's here - a midge's better with the ITG panel filter installed.
Usually £40 a week in jungle-juice.
As Ste 172 says, it's good mpg for what it is.

That was only half of it. You should have heard that sound that came from it as well...:approve:
Aye, the Scoob was a bit of a mess. Hopefully the damage is bodywork only. Though that rear wheel looked slightly out of line. :dapprove: I overheard the owner talking to someone and saying...
Great weather for it today - but bloody freezing! Still, no doubt that helped maximise the benefit to the turbo'd engines :)
Good mix of cars on track today - in particular one of the RC Evo's and a great sounding Scooby Clinic Impreza.
RC Car...
Reading between the lines here.......
"........ needs a new amp as I blew the old one at a show."
"........ seals on the turbo need replacing."
Am I the only one to think that this heap has been ragged to within an inch of its life? And then there's the paintwork. Jesus. Is the owner like 8...
We've had this a few times too - on both Office XP and Office 2003. More often than not, there are several of the same OUTLOOK.EXE files running - simply because they were too bloody impatient and double-clicked like a mofo to get Outlook up. :(
Fecking users. ;)

Does anyone have one fitted? I was looking at the 6400+ Edition - not bad for the price. Though I'm wondering if the clock increase to 3.2Ghz is enough to warrant the upgrade from my current 2.64Ghz?
Then again, if the Black Edition could easily handle 10% stock increase - that would be 3.52Ghz...
Managed to have another 'mess' before I saw your post above. It's definitely SLi related (now there's a surprise ) as COD4 comes with a option for Dual Cards.
It's off by default and the game plays fine. When I activate it, that's when I get the issues as seen above. I wonder if the...
Cheers Mike - much appreciated.
Another effect it does is rapidly flicker the 'black' sections - almost like on and off. Only does it at certain times - but it's really off-putting, legging it after your team who are flashing on and off! ;)

M8 - there's one such car in existance - and it's Rich's.
Asking for a black gold 182 without marks on the bodywork is more likely than winning the Lottery...................three weeks in the row.
My car has less scratches on it now than when I picked it up new with 6 miles on the clock...
Stop being a skin-flint, Chris. Did you see those audio cables from Nordic Odin (sp?) is yesterday's Mail on Sunday? They only charge £12,000 per metre - and then £7,000 for every metre after that.
I'm sure they would do a similar bargain on their HDMI range. ;)

I try hard....... like really hard not to delve into the pointless ramblings of manufacturer FAQs on websites. They are usually full of the most pointless and irrelevant questions, that it makes you wonder what amoeba thought them up in the first place.
I'm therefore, pleased to announce that...
Just downloading the latest driver now - cheers guys.
Interestingly, it says it's the recommended driver for Crysis as well. So far, that's been a-ok for me.

Calling all PC techies - any idea what could be causing the blackness in the pic attached? On some levels of COD4 it looked really bad - like I was playing in monochrome. :(
Neither my other two current games of Crysis or Gears of War suffer from it. Neither did the COD4 demo, strangely...
