It's a good quote that m8.
My 182 insurance when I got it back in Dec 04 was just under £800. And that was at the age of 30, no points, no convictions and been driving since 17!

I actually like it. :o
Well, apart from the front and rear - it looks a job well done.
As Funnycar says though, it would be a prime target for vandals. As sh1t-thick, p1ss-drinking dregs of society that they are - even they know that the paint-job would have cost a fair bob or two.
Not...
LOL - too bloody right! The PSP is a great piece of kit, but to think they could emulate the standard set by GT3 on a handheld console? No chance - not with the PSP anyway.
Maybe a tweaked and slightly revamped view of GT1 or GT2, but never what was achieved with GT3 or GT4....
Shame...
I'd probably go for a black base and racing blue lettering, if it was me. The problem with the standard badges is the fact that you have to be quite close to actually see what it says.
They are a great size to get painted and stand out just that little bit more. Not chavy, just an indicator...
Great match m8 - seriously - they look like the could have been an option when buying the car new!
Really does stand out, in a brilliantly subtle way when the car is clean. Just wished I'd had them done bloody ages ago now!

Well, I got the door badges all-painted up, off Middo and I think they suit the car perfectly. He managed to get the exact colour combination that I was after and I'm really chuffed with them.
Much, much better than the boring silver plastic look!
Thanks also...
I'd also check that the Network Connections service has been started autiomatically, Mike. I'd also fire up the NLA (Network Location Awareness) service at the same time. You shouldn't need it, but it may enable you to get the NIC up and running.
I'd agree with you that the issue sounds...
- almost - apart from the shed of a Suzuki egg-box 140cc mobile that was between us. I was in the Golf TDi up front and clearly you didn't want to open up the 172 - there were plenty of places where you could have overtook the owd biddy in the Suzuki! ;)
Turned off down the M65 towards the M6...
:eek::eek::eek::eek:
I bet that used to cost a fortune?! It must still be a hefty wedge per year at the moment?
How much of that 16MB is used for 'personal reasons', Lee? ;)

Yep, and unlike SDSL, leased-line circuits are priced on the geographic distance between point A and point B. We gave up with LL when a single 256k connection (yep, 256k!) between Blackburn and Birmingham was just over £10k per year.
Having said that, they are very, very reliable - and being...
^^^^^ - Stevie - a bad worker always blames his tools! :rasp: I know what you mean about the roads though. Shame I was concentrating a bit too much on sticking to them, than admiring the scenery.
Forgot to post one shot of Steve's Monaro as well - the one with that puny, tiddler of an...
Absolutely gutting - WTF do these cnuts get out of doing this anyway?!?!?
I can definitely recommend a bodyshop for you, but it's up here in Bury. They didn't a 110% job on Jain's car when it was keyed. Bit of a trek for you mind...
Can Mike @ RenTech suggest anyone decent in your area?

......256 miles later, we're back home! :D
Our little convoy of four V6's, one 182 and a 'little' Vauxhall Monaro took on some of the best roads that the Lakes had to offer. Great, traffic free (for the most part) stretches of the black stuff combined with the boom of Jain's Quicksilver exhaust...
I don't really care about the graphics at all. The shining light / damning shame of it (whichever the case will be) will be with the non-linear side of the game. Many developers have tried it, but how many have actually managed it?
The knack is to get a scripted environment, loaded with enough...
I can't understand why they (simBin & 10Tacle) have done all the ground-work for a truly excellent game and then fail to follow it up with exapnsion packs? Surely if the mechanics in the game are spot-on and graphics engine is sound, why not keep the fans happy with some more cars & tracks...
Followed another black Clio home last night from Blackburn. The reg on it being MJ54 AWX. Mine's MJ54 FWX. They could have almost been seperated at birth. ;)

I forgot which Release Candidate I tried. Seemed quite nippy for an O/S but I'd be the first to disable all the flashy 3D b****cks - complete waste of time. I'll be sticking with XP64 for the forseeable future - I'll use Vista if and when some decent DX10 stuff comes out for it.
