Poor sod. Hope you manage to get it sorted out m8 - and don't (please!) claim for any personal injury if you haven't had cause to do so.
By the sounds of it, you have decent morals - instead of pumping up the insurance premiums for everyone else (and yourself, in the long run).
Let's just hope...

Looks great - especially the 3-pedal setup and the 6-speeder gearstick, further down the page. Cheapest I saw was around 150 notes on dabs.com, but I can't see it being good for the majority of racing games that...
The only saving grace with this chaps, is that all online BF2 scallies may jump-ship and switch to BF2142 instead. Thus leaving the BF2 servers free for people like us! ;)

Lee - we had similar issues when our home BB connection was upgraded to theoretical 8MB. I think because we were at the limits of BB connection from the local exchange anyway, this played havoc with our line.
Having discussed this with the ISP (and trying equipment solely through the BT master...
Well, I've only given it half-an-hour, which is far from a proper test, but I tend to agree with you Griff.
There's an 'emptiness' to it that makes you almost redundant into what is going on around you. I thought the walkers would make for an awe-inspiring unit to avoid whilst playing as...
I could be totally wrong, but looooong, drawn-out production runs on games rarely bode well for the game in question. The other problem is that after so much hype, screenshots, previews, etc over time - the game can never meet the expectations raised. Worse still, are when much better and...
I'll just save and print this post for future proof then, Roy. When STALKER arrives in 2018, we'll get your forum name changed to Rear-Canal Roy without any trouble. Don't you worry. ;)

And what are the odds-on favourite, that it will turn out to be a load of sh1te?
I never get my hopes up about releases, far into the future. UT2007? I'll be interested in it when a release date is like 4 weeks away - and pretty much guaranteed at that. Pointless exercise, imo - thinking...
Yup - a definite piece of p1ss with a joystick. Feck knows how some ppl fly the choppers in BF2 with mouse and keyboard. With a 3-axis stick, it's easy....

I agree, m8. I've had the 'pleasure' of driving over there and a quick 80-90mph to us is almost pedestrian to the highways over in Dubai.
Glad to hear that you're ok though. I've only had to use the anchors on the 182 once in anger, but at a guess, I was probably only doing 60mph at the time...
Cool pics - good shot of mine too. You got the side that was completely filthy - the other had a clean spot from the egg-cleaning episode the night before.... ;)
Who's was the silver 172 with the 'Ring sticker on the boot? Sounded awesome that thing - looked really, really tidy too. :approve:

Re: battlefeild 1242 demo
Me - looks good. I hope it's good. Maybe it will push the Battlefield franchise further?
 Cynical Me  - yet another EA cash-grabbing exercise. Tarted-up Battlefield 2 engine to replace tanks with mechs, assault rifles with lasers, etc. Still the same...
Funnily enough, that's what it's called - it's not an acronym on my behalf. If it upsets you that much, perhaps I should have said 'oh my god' as well....

Well, Amazon delivered it to me this morning and I can categorically state, that with the exception of GT Legends that preceded it - there is no finer racing game in existance.
Anyone who liked the original GTR will love this. From the additional hike in graphics and sound to the increased...
Downhill, sweeping bend section. Road was wet too. Easy to jump to conclusions, I guess, but hopefully he wasn't too badly hurt. The car was a good distance down the road from the initial impact on the embankment too....

Looked a bad smash. Driver was out of the car and had blood from his head and the Police arrived just as I went past. A couple of cars had stopped by then too. Hope it was no-one on here? :(

I used the Vista-64 RC1 last week, m8. Seemed fine, but I couldn't find a compliant driver for my wireless NIC and sorting out the X-Fi was a right pain in the ricker.
The current X-Fi Vista driver is only a stop-gap too, rather than a full-blown supported driver suite. Tried it for a day and...
Anyone finished this yet? The Campaign mode is much, much better than the Skirmish one. Just getting a bit bogged-down on that mission where you defend Hill 317 (?) from the Germans. A tad too difficult for my meagre RTS skills!

Sums up my views perfectly. I'm running XP-64 on the home PC and it's running fine. I tried Vista-64 RC1 last week and while it looked ok, I don't really see any need to change. Obviously, that time will come, but for now - XP suits me fine.

Spotted it ahead of me in the traffic, on the slip-road off the M66. Saw another Baked Bean near Tesco in Blackburn yesterday too. Bloody Inferno colour is common as muck! ;)
