    400GB Extrenal HDD Bargain @ £110?

^^^^ - "External" and "fail" just go hand in hand. I'd only use them if there was feck all of importance on there. For truly important stuff that you want to keep, externals are just madness - regardless of cost. D.

GTR2 - what are your laptimes at Donington?

Yep, Donny's a great circuit - what Porker's are you using on there? Compared to the Saleen of the original GTR, Nik - the one in GTR2 is much more controllable. It's still very easy to make it get intimate with the tyre walls and gravel, but it 'seems' to give you plenty of warning this time...

GTR2 - what are your laptimes at Donington?

I'm slowly getting the hang of that Saleen S7-R - especially at Donington, so I wanted to know what kind of times I should aim at? Cheers, D.

M7* NYK - Willy heading into Bury this morning

Spotted it and posted before. Each time, there's always a c0ck in the traffic between me and the Williams... :dapprove: Anyone off here? D.

    darren s? blackburn asda

LOL! White wheels at this time of year, too. I bet one trip out in the Cup gets them full of kack? At least you didn't have the splashed-up horse-sh1t up the drivers side, like on mine. The beauty of living on an untarmaced road! D.

    Firefox 2

Been a FF convert for quite some time now. I cannot see any real benefit for IE anymore. FF2 seems fine to me, but like others say, hardly much of a 'big' improvement over the old one. D.

Modded silver 172. Bake Make (?), Bromborough, Wirral

Saw it at the front of the carpark at the bakery as I was on the way to our Wirral depot. Didn't see much, but is it anyone's off here? D.

172 Cup, Blackburn Asda, dinner time today (thursday 20th)

Feck! The only day I don't go to Blackburn Asda at dinner (went to Subway instead) and there were two of you there. I'd borrowed the Vee for the day too.... D.

Today is a sad sad day!

Look on the bright side. Going from a Micra to a Vee won't be miles apart in difference - it will be worlds apart! I hope you like attention. You'll get gawped at by so many other people on the road. But you can't quite drive a Vee like you could a Cup. It needs a lot more respect! ;) D.

    Gaming mice - any good?

^^^^ - Me too. You can tell an uber-geek gamer by the fact that they have an MX518. If they have the Logitech G15 keyboard as well, then hey......... we're talking the geeks of the uber-geeks.... ;) D.

    Car you most regret selling

My Punto GTT. It's time had come - 6.5 years ownership, 72k on the clock - big expensive bills on the horizon. Couldn't go around bends to save it's life, but it was a great car. Saw one in Bury town centre last night, blatting about. Sounded great and brought back quite a few memories! D.

Dawn Of War - Dark Crusade

Not a patch on CoH, in my opinion. I was kind of hoping that the unit direction indicator, garrison structures, etc would have migrated from CoH to Dark Crusade. Clearly not. :( Still a good game, don't get me wrong - but having been released later than Company of Heroes, I think it's a pale...

Sam and Max - Episode 1 PC

DOTT was pure brilliance. Before that, Zak McKracken was the benchmark. Never really tried Sam & Max, but the Monkey Islands were good. Even if you did get RSI from swapping the discs on the Amiga version.... ;) D.

    Some 182 Trophy advice, please.....

Decisions, decisions! Oh, eck! :S The Recaros are p**n and the rarity of it just really appeals to me. Finding a good one maybe hard? Is there any hike in insurance with it having that gold-laminated, diamond encrusted, titanium suspension setup? Any excuse for the insurer's to bump up the...

    Some 182 Trophy advice, please.....

In a nutshell, a worthy upgrade from a FF 182? I've had my 182 for nearly 2 years now and I'm thinking of speaking to place I got it from and tranferring the finance to a 2nd hand Trophy. I really, really like the look of them - especially seeing one up close (cheers Ad!) on the NW Run the...

197 test drive last night :-(

Good review there m8. Tbh, even if you said it was great, I just couldn't put up with the looks. The 172 & 182s look purposeful, nippy and a fun car - and with something like the Williams before it, even more so. Of the 197s I've seen about, they do absolutely nothing for me. It is a shame, and...

    Websites and Firefox

We split browsers at work for this reason alone. While we're developing the website, most of us use IE, yet I stick with Firefox. I just like the no-nonsence approach to Firefox, rather than the bloatware IE. Your page worked fine for me in Firefox, btw... D.

    Apple Mac or Windows PC?

Doubt it m8. Given what you said earlier, it sounds like the iMac will be right up your street. I wouldn't even bother thinking about Vista just now. By the time it finally get's released, it will only look like a rip-off, cut-down version of OSX anyway.... ;) D.

    Apple Mac or Windows PC?

    More Negative Press For Vista

That's only because most home users are unaware of how to use and implement Linux on their home PC. The fact that anyone can go into a PC World store with a few hundred quid in their pocket and pickup a Mac, is the reason why OSX would be a more likely option. And the fact that the Mac (in any...
