My sister's clio has had an intermittent starting issue and also cut out once whilst driving. The car was diagnosed and taken to a garage which turned out to be a faulty/loose/damaged earth strap, where is this located? Passenger side under the wheel arch? The battery light also flashed...

Not to side track but why did you have to take the bumper off to change a bulb....? 4.5k is a great budget for the used hot hatch market!
