What's the world coming to? They broke into a neighbour's car facing my parents house in the same way (again) - bending the door back from the top.
The sad thing is, is that the car is a G-reg Fiesta Bonus and belongs to a couple in their late-70s. Apparently they took feck all - just broke...
Not another one, Lee? I've seen a sharp rise in the number of 182 drivers that I let onto just looking at me completely blank-faced. Clearly thinking, WTF is he doing?
FM - You're clear anyway m8. I know you wouldn't slum-it that badly to replace the Willy for a baked bean! ;)

Exactly the same way they got into my Punto GTT when I parked it in Manchester. Ripped the stereo out that I'd only had for about 6 weeks. Since then I've never wanted a better sound system - the one that comes with the car will do me fine. It's just too much of a temptation for them. They can't...
LOL - friggin' progress, eh?! I much preferred WMP9 over WMP10 anyway. They still make it too complicated to burn stuff quickly and easily. Like Woodentop, I find Nero to be a much better product all round.

Was it just a black gold 182 with heavy tints and nothing else? An '05 plate? I see one regularly joining the motorway at Junc.2 of the M66 in the morning. He/she might head towards Manchester?

^^^^^ - she'll be starting a house-hold chores points scheme with me next...
"Have you washed the pots and done the ironing? Nope? Oh well, no keys to the Vee then..." ;)

Black Gold!
Black Gold!
Black Gold!

BLACK GOLD!!!
What a fecker to keep clean!!!! ;)

Same here. I'd rather stick with my current 182. I like the comment in Top Gear magazine that states the vents behind the front wheels help to extract brake dust. Hmmmmm. Won't the cleaners and detailers amongst us just love to get their door panels full of brake dust! :S

Thought you'd been abducted m8! Haven't seen the RUG in ages - literally a good month and more. I thought you may have even got a different job!
Waved to you this morning, but I think you were concentrating more on the idiots at that roundabout to notice me.... ;)

Yours was a 172 with smoked alloys on it? That would be the one then...
Yep, mine's a '54 plate - I parked it just after that 'hairpin' in the car-park, facing nose first. Bloody policeman stopped me turning where I wanted to go too!
Northy - glad to hear that it wasn't just you that...
Various places m8. Down near Cascades at one part, overlooking Knickerbrook another (where that Clio Cup ploughed into the tyre wall) and also at the rear of the pit straight.
Those Porsche's sounded awesome....

Rob - sure was. Enjoyed it that much that I'll definitely be going to Donington at the end of July. Would have been good if you'd gone in as I didn't see a Vee the whole day either!

Spotted 4 close together. Lee's Trophy, Maz's 182, a 172 Cup behind (who's is that?) and the black modded dCi Clio behind that one?
Spotted the occassional RS amongst the parked cars - one black gold 182 that had a reg plate that made up the name MATT with a Hill Power sticker on tha back...
Reno has made the decision for me. Like for like, I would much prefer a Meg 225 than a 197. But again, pricing is the key issue. A black gold 182 at Reno Bury was up for sale at £16,500, then I went and bought the same car (admittedly without sat-nav) from CarSelect at bang-on £12k.
The 197 has...
Couldn't agree more Lee. I've still got my pocket Donkey Kong in its orange and brushed aluminium casing from about 1982. Stick two new watch batteries in and away she goes. My m8 Steve bought the follow up (Donkey Kong Jn.?) in that brown and cream casing. Always jealous of that one.... ;)
The...
I'd point the finger at potential heat build up. I've only used a 360 once, but feck me, that thing belches out some heat! Combine that with this time of year as well and I'm surprised more of them aren't dropping like flies....

Came past me on the outside lane just past the Ramsbottom sliproad. Looked well in the sun - thought it was a Trophy from a distance in the rear mirror!
Driving a works Mondeo at the time, so I didn't let on. Went past me rather quickly and I was doing circa 85mph....
Anyone?
