I didnt read your story Chip - i live in Scotland, im not a 'hero' as you put it. Just apply common sense.
If its really that bad a day, i wont go out/to work. Its my opinion so im whole heartedly not interested in yours or any other winter tyre bummers either.
We (Scotland) didnt get any...
I used Rainsport 2's on my 182 for 2 years and had no problems whatsoever in snow/ice/rain etc
I couldnt be fucked buying 'winter' tyres then Uniroyals again in the summer. I've never needed them in 9 years of driving!
Do you get the stop light and battery light on sometimes? I thought i seen it come on but cant be absolutley certain, the steering goes heavy sometimes aswell?
Welcome along mate! Pearl Black phase 1's look great!
Can i ask why its had three timing belt changes and 3 four aux belt changes? Seems excessive unless there has been a failure some where along the line?
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
Admittedly they arent as fluid as other gearboxes but in all honesty, you will not find a better all round package with Renault Sport for what they offer pounds per smiles.
Its normally user error that causes them to fail.
I thought this about my old 106 GTi. Turns out it was a freak of a car, 139bhp on a seemingly standard set up, it went from 60-135mph faster than any Clio i've had lol...
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
There really is no point arguing this.
Too many folk dont want to like it, rather than reserve judgement until they've actually driven one.
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
I've covered 170k in three 1*2's. Never had a single issue with the gearbox's. Sure they arent as smooth as a Honda/Ford but they do the job.
