Ooft that's beautiful, you never see mk1 or mk2 astras about anymore. My dad had a white mk2 GTE at one point, I always loved the digital dash, it reminded me of Knight Rider.
For the top banter innit.
I was considering getting a Clio to replace the Smart and @RSteve said I should ask for opinions on here so it's his fault. (I ended up with a Fiesta)
I went to pick my brother up from work today, he works in a Porsche dealership so I snapped a couple of piss poor pics of the 918s they have in at the moment. He said the black one has just sold for £1.25M and the white one is on sale for £1.4M. The pics are crap as they are right next to the...
I forgot to say it went in for it's MOT as my brother in law gets a free one through work and passed...
...once £441 worth of work had been done. The alignment needed doing, the bonnet cable snapped as the latch was seized, the o/s/f caliper was seized, new front pads were needed as a result...
Put the new grille on today, it's from an i-CDTi sport and is essentially the same as the Type S grille. I had to get one from a diesel though as there are a few differences involving the cooling system etc than mean bumpers & grille are slightly different.
The plan long term is to save a bit...

Many thanks, I think a small ducktail spoiler would finish the back off nicely like this.
Then the wheels really need a refurb, MOT in a couple of months though so I'm concentrating on that for now.
*Update*
I finally got around to something that was winding my OCD up, the pedal rubbers were as worn as you'd expect from a 10 year old car so I replaced them. They weren't cheap for 2 smallish bits of rubber either!
Clutch was the worst and kept slipping off the pedal. Old vs new.
Brake...
These abortions are mostly from the 00's, when I used to read Max Power as a kid in the mid 90's the cars very rarely had bodykits and 17" wheels were seen as insanely huge. It was mostly about engine swaps and ICE, the only bodykits were the insanely wide Reiger & Dimma kits.
The bodykits...
Aluminium is highly flammable, that's what brought the Hindenburg down. It was lined with aluminium and a static charge ignited it which in turn ignited the hydrogen, nasty stuff if near flames.
