The Type S is the one you are thinking of I think, like the below? The colour is nice yeah cheers, it's called graphite grey pearl and in decent light it looks a blue-ish but the rest of the time it's like a gunmetal grey.

The climate control & sat nav are all controlled through the head unit so it's a nightmare, a mate has the same car and he can't find an adaptor anywhere. I have one of those radio transmitter things for the iPod though so I might just use that.

Wouldn't it work better by removing the 'glass' completely so the holes were pointing straight ahead rather than upwards? That way the cold air would be forced down the ducting by the movement of the car giving a better airflow.

I think Ford have missed a trick by not putting the 125bhp 1.0 ecoboost from the Fiesta ZS into the Ka with a subtle body kit, sporty seats and making it a new SportKa.
That wasn't an insult, Max Power in it's earlier days was actually about cars with decent engine mods that were lowered with alloys and a respray for the most part. It didn't get more about lairy bodykits on 1.1 Saxos until the early 00's.

Get the uprated head gasket kit and it should be fine, Lotus ran the K Series in the Elise for years with no issue. They only started to get problems when MG Rover started to cut corners.
Or you could go insane and put a T16 in from the 220/420/820 turbo, the Maestro guys comfortably see around...
