That wont make any difference, if anything itll be the same. Im around £50 or so cheaper for a 197/200 but when i was 21 with my 172 i was £200 dearer on a 197! Bizzare enough as it is!

Im suprised at that :o i know they are VVT engines but even so...! My 106 GTi was worse for fuel than my 172 and 182! That was shocking for fuel! Thats a good price for insurance mate! Ive yet to see one upclose yet, maybe get a wee look at the next meet!

Yeah 31/32 for me (standard car), 40+mpg is only really possible on a long run in good conditions

I hope the mpg you guys are talking about is willy waving? Anything less than 33 combined from a 1.6 is shocking!
