I feel your pain mate but as the saying goes, gotta start somewhere etc People will say that unless you do X amount of miles in a diesel the diesel cost does not warrant the economy but as you said if your old boy is going to give you a good price it might well be worth it!

If it was a V8 maybe. Clios arent exactly bank breaking to run. My Phase 1 172 returned 44mpg to Newcastle and back with the full interior and a stealth exhaust on it. Not worth the hassle
