I see yours is the PMS one [emoji1303]. Polo rad ?
All do the same thing .
Couple of weeks away till Trackday, so I’ll report back with info [emoji1303]
It’s actually the other way round I had it .
Modine cooler was fitted first without 13row external cooler .
It was getting hot with just that and no fan shroud fitted. So it was kinda pointless on its own .
But now it’s in conjunction with the other supporting mods like the external cooler...
I run Itb’s also , at SPA I saw 120 degrees oil 105 coolant , so backed off , now I’ve fitted a 13 row and also a shroud around my radiator , I won’t be able to test again until warmer weather, but I’m out at Snett in the 10th Nov so I’ll report back then .
All that s**t has been banned now , coppers do drivebye’s and also the ace cafe are in with the police , so any shenanigans I think the cops are called .
I’ll be up on the 21st October , that’s the next one .
Well if that’s the case , I’m fucked , I don’t even have any Airbag ecu or squib anymore , so if push comes to shove , I’ll be wiring my airbag lamp to my abs bulb and both will come on and go out like normal and oh fit the Oe wheel and bag . [emoji6]
I’ve had my Clio 172 , 11 years and the sensor hasn’t failed in that time .
It’ll more than likely be the wiring plug in the loom , there is a Renault replacement plug and sensor you can buy to overcome this issue , the terminals are gold plated I think .
This is the top branded direct replacement.

If you have hydraulic setup , suck some out so it’s at half way level , so when it gets hot it won’t spill over . That’s what I did and it’s spot on .
EPAS for the long haul , as I’ve seen PAS pumps fail and take out the cam belt and say goodbye [emoji1309] to the engine .
That’s why I went EPAS
