Yes @Fantom - Jack the car up drivers side , take it out from bulk head . As I have custom heat shields its a lot easier , move them if applicable and feed it through . 20 mins tops ole chap . Come on chop chop get it done .

Changed my throttle cable , oh wow what a difference. Should have done this a long time ago.

@imprezaworks . Are you running the 10mm spacers as well at the rear ? As mine is with 1deg shim and 10mm spacer and camber either side is 2.5degrees now .

I'm not really sure to be honest , I just adjusted the coil overs to the best feeling position . It is raked towards the front .

I was thinking just this the other day , as I had an off at bedford , and we all know the rear of clios are bloody light [emoji35]

Rear 10mm with 1deg camber shim also 20mm front with 2.5 deg camber If your not running any major camber the tyre will sit closer to the arch

Only for road use Id say that was a good idea , but for track use no . Recently I read a vehicles spacer which was bolted to the hub worked loose out on track . I personally think worrying about 4 bolts/nuts is bad enough let alone 8 . Wheels off every time to check torque ect .

FFS 10am-11am tomorrow - and today is glorious .

If the shims are equally spaced sizes - id be trying out my theory first as its quick and simple . seems a lot of effort to get the gaps right shimming it.

Why dont you just loosen off the rear beam axle bolts and drive up the road and come back and see how its changed the position. In fairness there should not be a difference . maybe something is not straight

I suppose - maybe keep the other one you take off as an emergency in the tool kit .

I would stick with genuine , you wouldn't want it snapping or being tight , coz you were being tight lol [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

When i had my throttle diameter enlarged , this did cure the issue and has been totally fine for the last 5 years. Only now has it started to stick and its only once in a while , so maybe the idle valve is an issue - not sure . i have just purchased a new throttle cable also to see if it will help.
